Founder and Clinical Director
Ilana Katz is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist who received her Undergraduate Degree in Health Sciences as well as her Master of Clinical Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. Ilana is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) as well as Speech-Language and Audiology of Canada (SAC) and the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).
Ilana has experience working with children and adults of all ages both individually and in groups. Ilana has worked in many areas of the Speech-Language Pathology field including private practice, preschool initiative program, school health support services, daycare programming, parent training, workshops,
and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
She is Hanen certified for “It Takes Two to Talk” and “More Than Words”, both family-focused early language intervention programs. Ilana is also Hanen certified to lead programs for educators including “Learning Language and Loving It,” "Teacher Talk" and "ABC and Beyond." Ilana holds PROMPT level 2 "Bridging" Certification and LAMP training level 1.
Ilana’s areas of interest include working with preschool and school age children in the areas of articulation, language and literacy, as well as working with children with special needs. Ilana also works extensively with adults with developmental disabilities.
Ilana currently runs a private practice, Aurora Speech Therapy, providing speech and language services to clients in Aurora, Newmarket, Oak Ridges and surrounding areas. Her newest venture, In-Home Speech Therapy will help expand quality services to surrounding communities.
Communicative Disorders Assistant, CDA, Reg. CDAAC
Kellie Belcourt is a Communicative Disorders Assistant who received her Undergraduate Degree in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University as well as her Communicative Disorders Assistant Certificate from Georgian College. Kellie is a member of the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC) as well as The Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).
Kellie has a variety of experience working with children and adults of all ages and skill levels, both 1:1 and in groups. She has worked in several different settings within the speech and language field including children with various articulation, motor speech and language difficulties, stroke or Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation in hospitals, private practice, CDA mentorship as well as in-home ABA and speech and language services.
Kellie has a strong passion for working with individuals with complex communication needs, including Autism and other developmental delays, in which she helps them in reaching their full communication potential. Her interests extend into the areas of articulation, language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, pre-language skills, rehabilitation and literacy.
Kellie currently provides in-home speech and language therapy services across the North GTA.
Speech-Language Pathologist, M.HSC., SLP(C), Reg. CASLPO
Brianna Mills is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Brianna graduated from the University of Maine at Fort Kent with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto.
Brianna has experience working with both children and adults, individually and in groups. She has provided assessments, therapy, parent-training, and consultation in a variety of settings, including preschool speech and language programs, schools, hospitals, and community programs. This variety has allowed Brianna to work with wide range of individuals, including those with receptive and expressive language delays, social communication difficulties, disfluencies, motor speech difficulties, articulation/phonology delays, literacy concerns, and swallowing disorders. Additionally, Brianna is certified in Hanen’s “It Takes Two to Talk”, Hanen’s “More Than Words”, and the Lidcombe Program.
Brianna is passionate about working with preschool and school-aged children, demonstrating difficulties in speech, language, fluency, and/or social skills. To provide optimal intervention for each client, she seeks to tailor intervention to each client, provide naturalistic therapy, and ensure that the family is involved in the intervention. Brianna is bilingual and can provide services in both English and French.
Brianna currently provides in-Home Speech and Language Services to clients in Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, and surrounding areas.
